Amitabh’s film banned in UAE

The Salman Khan- Amitabh Bachchan starrer God tussi great ho (GTGH) hit the theatres all over the world last Friday. This film is said to be inspired from the Hollywood flick ‘Bruce Almighty’ starring Jim Carey. GTGH has the senior Bachchan playing the role of God who comes to the rescue of Salman Khan when the latter blames him for his official debacles.
God decides to give him the power of running the earth for a few days which results in a series of mishaps. The film also has Priyanka Chopra providing the perfect romantic foil for Salman Khan. A parallel to GTGH can also be drawn to the recently released Tamil flick Arai En 305il Kadavul.
God tussi great ho has run into rough weather now with the United Arabic Emirates issuing a ban on screening this film in the gulf nation saying that the film has violated Islamic principles and teachings. It was also reported that there were many complaints received from the viewers as well. Whether India will also follow suit will have to be watched for.
