Rajini fans stage protest

The President of Rajinikanth Fans’ Association of India, Sathyanarayana was taken by surprise when a few of the Rajini fans staged a protest near his house in Gopalapuram yesterday (29-09-08). The superstar’s fans have been insisting that Rajini should enter politics for long. This sentiment seems to have grown out of proportion with Rajini’s
counterpart Chiranjeevi announcing his party launch just a month ago.
Sathyanarayana promptly intervened and pacified the crowd that he would arrange a meeting with their star in two days time. Speaking about issue, a fan said that the fans are confident that they can convince Rajini to enter politics if a meeting is arranged. However, fans also say that if not a political party, Rajini should at least consider starting a welfare association.
