The wedding reception hosted for the newlyweds Sibiraj and Revathy turned out to be gala function. The reception was well-attended with top brass politicians and the glitterati descending at the venue – Mayor Ramanathan Chettiar Hall. The chief minister of Tamil Nadu Dr. M. Karunanidhi along with his family members was present to bless the
young couple. Notable among the politicians who attended the reception were T.R. Baalu, Raja, E.V.K.S Elangovan, Stalin, Kanimozhi, Anbazhagan, Arcot Veerasamy.
