Twentieth Century Fox to produce Indian films

Twentieth Century Fox, the film studio and distributor major in the US and Star Entertainment has entered into a joint venture to make films in Asian language. This new venture will be known as Fox Star Studios. Initially the project will be based in India with plans to expand to other countries like China and South East Asia. With the corporatization of the film industry in
India, major foreign film production houses are trying to carve a niche for themselves. It may be noted that Warner Bros entered the Indian film market by signing a deal with Soundarya Rajnikanth’s Ocher Studios to produce south Indian language films
