Lot of resurgence has been involved in Kollywood, with lots of films made with different themes of Cosmopolitan city life style. However, there are few filmmakers who live up in bringing the films based on nativity. Here comes ‘Karisalman’ a film based on the problems faced by farmers, whose lives are affected by River Cauvery. The film has been extensively shot down there at exotic rich locations of Thanjavur. Director of the film has tried in spelling the best Tamil Culture through his presentation. Saran Raj, Lavanya, Vadivukarasi and many other newcomers have been cast in ‘Karisalman’.
Tamilvaanan has taken charge of story, screenplay, Dialogue and Direction. He is a one-time associate of Director Seeman of ‘Thambi fame’. Music is by Selvaraj and the audio of the movie was launched yesterday on October 22, 2008 in South Indian Film Chamber, Chennai.
