“We followed Sujatha -word by word"

The audio releases of Anandha Thandavam, the film based on eminent Tamil writer Sujatha's Pirivom Sandippom was held at the coffee shop of Ashwitha art gallery, Chennai. This film is directed by Gandhi Krishna of Chellame fame who was earlier assistant to director Shankar. Anandha Thandavam has debutant Siddharth and Tamanna in the lead roles.
While talking at the occasion, Gandhi Krishna said that when making a film from a novel, it is natural for the film maker to alter the original novel to suit the visual medium. However he has not done that and has followed Sujatha's writing word by word. In case he mentioned that someone was walking in Switzerland, the scene was shot in Switzerland only. He further added, "Anandha Thandavam is a verbatim recording of the novel Pirivom Sandippom and Sujatha's fans would vouch for the same when they watch the movie."
When G. V. Prakash, the music director of the film spoke, he said, "I have done varied subjects from serious themes like Veyil to light commercial films. But this is the first time that I did an out and out a youth subject which is full of love. The songs have come out very well and I am sure about its response with the audience." The function was attended by Siddharth, Tamanna, villain actor Rishi and film's co-producer Aascar Suresh along with other celebrities.
