Actors protest in Sri Lanka

Protests seem to be the order of the day. The demonstration and protests by the Tamil film industry in three different stages against the killings of innocent Tamils in Sri Lanka have triggered a similar kind of response from the Sri Lankan film industry. It has been reported that actors and actresses from the island nation will be staging a demonstration tomorrow
at the independence square in Colombo. Ravindra Tandania who is an actor as well as advisor to the Sri Lankan President informed about this to the media. He added that their demonstration would reveal to the world that their government is waging a war only against terrorism and a petition to this effect will be handed over to the Indian High Commission and Tamil film industry.
