Kamal and Rekha to inaugurate Goa Film Festival


Padmashri Kamal Haasan maybe drenched in desolate scenario for his ‘Marmayogi’ dropping off. But his insatiable passion for filmdom doesn’t get him away from the spotlights of International audiences. Yeah! 39th Goa International Film Festival is set to begin on November 22nd and everyone is gearing up with lots of expectations for it. Actor Kamal Haasan has been offered to preside over the gracious occasion of inauguration as well the closing ceremony for the 10-day festival. Bollywood’s evergreen actress Rekha will also accompany the actor in all these ceremonies.
The 10-days Film Festival will have Priyadarshan’s Kanchivaram screened along with other internationally acclaimed movies. India’s ‘Maha Sattha’, Germany’s ‘My Mother’s tears’, Iran’s ‘Song of parrots’, Japan’s ‘Red Land’ and around 15 films would be screened. As a special mention, celluloid on ‘Taj Mahal’, the silent film will also be screened.
