Sippy debuts with a film Kumari Pennin Ullathile which has child artiste-turned-hero Chandru in the lead. She is the latest addition in the bandwagon of Malayalam actresses who have forayed into Kollywood. Chandru had acted in films including Varnajalam, M Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi, Vanjagan.The title Kumari Pennin Ullathile is actually the first line of a song in one of late legend MGR’s movies. Malayalam actor-turned-director Kishore says, “I am a fan of MGR. Kumari Pennin Ullathile is my favourite song. Also it goes with the theme of the movie.” Kishore also plays the main villain of Kumari and Meera Vasudevan is cast opposite him. The story of Kumari Pennin Ullathile movie revolves around two twelfth standard students. The story is a romantic thriller and Amudhabharathy is composing the music.
