It seems that the competition between the two leading ladies in the Tamil and Telugu film industry is not only in bagging the best offers, but also in participating in opening ceremonies.
While the buzz in the Malayalam film industry is that Nayanthara was paid an astounding Rs. 10 lakhs and
jewelry sets for opening a jewelry showroom in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollywood is surprised that Trisha was flown down on a chartered flight to Vijayawada to open a showroom there. Interestingly, both the actresses spent only a few hours in the city they went to. In Trisha’s case the flight was specifically arranged to carry her to Vijayawada. However, Nayan was accompanied by her mother and manager.
