Arun Vijay and Vedhika will team up for their forthcoming venture Malai Malai. The shooting of this film is expected to commence at the end of this month. The film's director Venkatesh, speaking about Malai Malai said that it is an action-packed commercial film like all his previous ventures. Venkatesh had wielded the megaphone for films like Killadi in
which Bharath played the lead role, Sundar C's Vaadaa and Arjun's Durai.
When questioned about the title of the film, Venkatesh said that it represents the hero and the villain. Incidentally Prakash Raj is the baddie in this film. Venkatesh added that Prakash Raj's role in Malai Malai will be on par with the hero.
