Actress Akshaya hasn’t been hitting limelight with big projects, but her roles have been so commendable. The actress made her debut in ‘Kalaba Kadhala’ where she has a deep attraction for her sister’s husband. In the following film titled ‘Palaniappa Kalloori’, she again turned the spotlights on her with the scene where she dances in front of her boyfriend’s dead body. Though her recent film ‘Gaja’ was a ridiculous one, her performance has been well received.
Her forthcoming film ‘Thasaiyinai Theechudum’ is set at the backdrops of 1940s and she would be seen in the get-ups of yesteryear actresses of that period. Adding more, she says, ‘That doesn’t mean I perform a homely character. My characterization if Bharathi, a much outspoken girl with lot of courage. Dinesh from Koothupattarai does lead role and the film will start rolling from this month’.
