Mammootty’s absolute no!

The Malayalam super star, Mammootty, has also carved a niche for himself in the Tamil film industry with some blockbusters to his credit including Thalapathy, Marumalarchi, and Makkal Aatchi. The actor has shown considerable interest in acting in Tamil films. He is presently working in a Kollywood flick titled Aruvadai, which also has Arjun in the star cast.
When a few reporters wanted to know whether he
would enter politics like his counterparts in Tamil and Telugu film industry, the actor said the answer is an absolute “no”. He attributes the entry of film stars in politics in the states to the regional political parties forming the government but in Kerala there are only national political parties, he added.
