Ayan is gearing up for an April release. It is said that, among other add-ons including Suriya’s six-packs, Ayan’s art direction will be an eye-ball grabber, director K V Anand was quoted as saying to one of the tabloids recently. Suriya’s house in the movie is the set elegantly done, as per the director who also handles the cinematography.
Besides, a floating set worth Rs. 40 lakhs was constructed for a song in the backwaters of
Muttukkadu. A windmill was also erected in the shores. However, as bad luck would have it, the set was almost blown away twice in the last year’s storm and floods, once having been dragged dangerously close to the sea. The set was then brought into the backwaters with the help of 40 boats, mentioned director Anand.
