Censor board lauds ‘Arundhathi’


The blockbuster Telugu hit ‘Arundhathi’ is getting dubbed in Tamil and released by director Rama Narayanan on Sri Tenaandal Film’s banner.
Starring Anushka, Shayaji Shinde and Sonu Sood in the lead cast, ‘Arundhathi’ made waves in Andhra Pradesh for the spellbinding VFX technology and astonishingly grand sets. With over two long years in production, the film became one of the biggest grosser of recent times. Koti Ramakrishna, director of the yesteryear hit ‘Amman’ starring Soundarya has made this film produced on Mallemala productions.
After a hiatus, a graphical extravaganza based on a periodical fantasy plot of reincarnation is getting released for the Tamil audience.
Recently, the makers submitted the film for the censor board to review and the people there lauded the marvelous piece of work. Anushka, the reigning heroine of Tollywood was first seen in Madhavan’s ‘Rendu’ and she comes back to play the lead lady in Vijay’s ‘Vettaikkaran’ after Arundhathi’s release.
The film is set to hit screens shortly by this month.
