Produced by Hassini Cinemas, the film has Prasanna, Sandhya and Bala in lead roles. It’s been a long term project and recently one song titled ‘Shailana Shailana Mana Pennum Vandhalo’ was shot.. Apart from the leading stars, the song also features actors RK, Tharika, M.S. Bhaskar, Nizhalgal Ravi, Sri Ranjini and more junior artists. With Dinesh choreographing for the song, Director Vaseegaran says it would be an interesting song scored by Bharadwaj. VM Udhaya Shankar has handled editing while T. Kaviarasu cranked the camera.
Earlier Prashanth was supposed to enact the characterization played by Bala. Due to call sheet schedules, the actor backed off and however he made it possible for launching the film.
Sandhya who has been well appreciated for her performance makes her debut as a playback singer for the first time. As the fille was persistently humming her favorite song, Director Vaseegaran just offered her chance to render her voice for ‘Nee Golden Poo Coating’ scored by Bharadwaj.
When the same song was shot extensively on the 20th floor terrace in Bangkok, the temperature was around 108 degrees. Unbearable to high temperature, couple of technicians fainted down due to dehydration. However, both Sandhya and Prasanna made the things work out completing the song with more passion.
Post production works are going on and the film is slated to hit the screens probably by end of March or during first week of April…
