Ice House Thyagu who is also a busy politician and Vice President of Artists Association is now producing a film Ithanai Nalai Engu Irundhay under the banner O M R Enterprises.
R Balu who directed Kalamellam Kadhal Vazgha, Unnuden and Anbe Un Vaasam is directing this film. Popular TV anchorman Ananda Kannan is debuting in the lead role.
Varshni, a new face is debuting as the heroine in this film. Vivek, Rusandra Kumar, Dhaamu, Cell Murugan, Bala Singh, Kalai Rani, Viji Sekar, Villupuram Ravi, Vatsala, Rajagopal, Raghu, Muthu Raman, Mohan Gandhi and Manohar are also starring in this film.
Ice House Thyagu is also doing a pivotal role in this film. This film is about some problems the weaver families at Kanchipuram encounter. It is about a girl in the weaver’s family who falls in love and the problems that occur in the family because of this.
The first schedule of shooting is over in Chennai. The second schedule of shooting is to commence in the first week of April in Cheyaru and Kanchipuram.
M Babitha and Pournami have written the screenplay and dialogues. Mahesh K Dev is handling the camera. Dheena has composed the music for the lyrics penned by Na Muthukumar. V T Vijayan is editing this film. Murali has taken care of the stunts while Dhinesh and Johnny are the choreographers of this film.
