Padmapriya’s fleet to Bollywood

With Asin and Genelia topping the Bollywood charts, here’s one more actress turning hotfooted on the tracks. After winning enormous accolades for her spectacular performance in South Indian Films, Actress Padmapriya goes straight to Bollywood debut in a period film.
Precisely, this film titled ‘Striker’ was supposed to take off before a very long time. Perhaps, due to call sheet schedules, filming got delayed and now everything is ready to roll.
‘Striker’ is based on the life of a carom board striker set at the backdrops of Mumbai in 1990s. Siddharth who patently took up couple of Tamil film ‘Boys’ and ‘Aayutha Ezhuthu’ is the film’s protagonist while Padmapriya will play a bar owner in this film.
The film directed by Chandan Arora features ‘Chak De India’ fame Vidya Malvade, Nicolette, Seema Biswas and Aditya Pancholi. Padmapriya who made her debut in Kollywood with ‘Thavamaai Thavamirundhu’ has been keen on picking best scripts that offered her more scope. At the moment, she is shooting for Director Cheran’s ‘Pokkisham’ that’s termed as a sequel to ‘Autograph’…
