Produced by Kovai Film City and directed by debutante N. Selvakumaran, Minsaram is a film with slight communistic overtones and revolutionary ideas of creating a higher social rank. The star attraction of the film is Thol. Thirumavalavan, who plays a chief minister.The film stars newcomers Yuvraj, Madhu Chanda and Sowhathi in the lead along with Rama of Ennuyir Thozhan fame. The supporting cast includes Anju, Gaanaa Ulaganathan, and a debutante actor Muthuswamy plays the villain. Music is by newcomer T. Devan.
