Kulir from June

It is the season for small films with a strong storyline and a relatively unknown cast. And belonging to this league is Kulir 100, directed by Anitha Udeep.
Despite being made at a moderate budget, the film is said to have done inspiring business among the distributors. Said to be a fun riot set in school, the movie features many youngsters as protagonists. This is the first Tamil directorial venture of Anitha, who has earlier done an English film. Debutants Sanjeev and Riya form the lead pair, and Karthik, Nitish, Syed and Abishek form the rest of the coterie.
The music for the film was launched more than four months ago. Composed by Bobo Sasi, the songs are still popular on radio and have been bought by Sony Music.
The film was originally slated to release this Friday. But owing to the release of Thoranai, the producers are hoping for a June release for the film.
