Trisha paired with Simbhu in the film Azhai a few years back. Now they have once again joined hands for the film Vinnai Thandi Varuvaaya. Gowtham Menon is directing this film.
The shooting of this film took place in Malta Islands near Italy for 14 days. Trisha after participating in this shooting returned to Chennai yesterday. While sharing her experiences with the media, she said,” Malta is a beautiful place.
Only Hollywood films have been shot there so far. One song sequence for a Hindi film was shot a few years ago. No other Indian films have been shot here. There are lots of Christians living there. There are 365 churches there.
One can visit one church every day and complete all the churches in a year. All the churches are so beautiful. People there are very good. There are no thieves. There is no violence. In the stores the products are stacked up and price tag is kept. There is no theft and business goes in a smooth way.
Since this is a beautiful place lots of tourists are frequenting there. All the hotels are luxurious and all the amenities are available there. There are Indian restaurants. So there was no problem for our food. One could get tasty pastas and pizzas here.
When the Indian Consulate heard that Simbhu and I had come from India, the Ambassador himself personally invited us for a dinner. The entire crew participated in this dinner. Everybody should visit Malta at least once in life time and enjoy its splendor.”
