Actor Radha Ravi who keenly focuses on well-being of the Tamil film industry is so frustrated with ‘Bollywood’.
On the occasion of launching the audio for ‘Mandapam’, Radharavi stated that today in Chennai, most of the theatres are screening Hindi films and low-budget Tamil films are running out of centres.
‘First of all, if the Hindi producers want to screen their films, let them build or raise new theatres… A.R. Rahman has been vividly praised all throughout the World. But he must make sure that ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ isn’t his debut film. It was ‘Roja’ produced by Kavithalaya Productions who introduced him. And today, he’s really avoiding Tamil projects and gets along merely with Hindi films.’
