Meena was a popular actress in Tamil film world. She has done the lead roles in Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada films.
Two months back she married a computer engineer from Bangalore. She had said that her husband has permitted her to act in films after marriage. Now she has decided to act in films. She is now signed to act in a film titled Vidathe Pidi directed by T P Gajendran. Prabhu is donning the lead role. This film is a full length comedy film. She has also planned to do act in prominent roles in Malayalam and other South Indian languages. Currently she is acting in a reality show for a private channel.
