Director Babu K Viswanath who is the protégé of Saran has completed the shooting of the film Kandha. The post production work is going on.
While speaking to the media about this film, he said,” In each one mind there will be memories of the school and about the teachers who taught us. This film is about an incident that takes place between a former student and teacher.
In most of the film we would have seen the sentiments of mother, brother and sister. But in this film I am telling about the sentiments of a student and teacher. The story of the film happens in Thanjavur.
A student who studies there goes abroad for higher education. After some time he returns to this place only to find the paddy fields which is meant to produce food is filled with sickles. What is the reason for this? How does the hero set right this is the rest of the story.This film which has Karan and Mithra in the lead role is being produced by AB Films. The songs composed by Sakthi R Selva has come out really well. Karan will be seen is a different dimension. We are finalising the release date."
