‘When a stranger calls’ remade in Tamil with Rambha


Actress Rambha had no big time for a long time and nearly followed by a sabbatical gap she makes her comeback.
Well, her recent release ‘Quick Gun Murugan’ fetched her honorable credits for the good performance. Now, it’s time to make a full fledged lead role in Kollywood.
The film ‘Vidiyum Varai Kaathiru’ based on a Hollywood movie ‘When a stranger calls’ featuring Rambha and Prakash Raj in lead roles. The film is about a girl who has to spent entire night alone in her Uncle’s house. Things turn to be nightmarish for the young girl when a stranger calls up and starts harassing with his gruesome words. Immediately, the girl calls up cops and indeed they trace the caller.
But the shocking part is when she is exposed to the truth that the stranger is calling from nowhere but right inside her house.
What unfolds next is series of twists and turns leading to a shocking climax..
Apart from handling story, screenplay and dialogues Viyas himself has directed the film. Tan Joor has tuned melodies to lyrics of Pa. Vijay and Panneer Selvam has handled the camera. The film is produced by Pallavi under the banner of Pariyaj Creations.
