Top star films are being released on Pongal day. Only three films Aadhavan, Peranmai and Jagan Mohini were released for Deepavali.Fans who expected lot of films for Deepavali were disappointed. Now lots of films are being released on Pongal day to satisfy them. Vijay’s Vettaikaran and Ajith’s Asal will clash on Pongal day. Vettaikaran was supposed to be released on Deepavali day, but it was postponed.
Anushka who became popular in Arundhathi is the heroine of this film. There are many expectations for this film among the fans because of Vijay’s recent political stunts. Asal is a film of Ajith after Aegan.
Samira Reddy and Bhavana are the two heroines of this film. The shooting of this film is taking place in France and London. 80% of the shooting is over. There are also news that Surya starrer Singam directed by Hari may also hit the screens on Pongal day because the shooting is progressing at a rapid pace keeping Pongal on mind.
Apart from these, Bharath starrer Thambikku Indha Ooru and Simbhu’s Viinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya are also being released on Pongal day. The shooting of both the films has been completed. Karthi starrer Paiyya directed by Lingusamy will also make it’s way to Pongal.
