Vijayalakshmi kisses Jai

Vijayalakshmi made her debut as a heroine in the film Chennai 28 and after this she paired with Narain in Anjathey. She is the daughter of the popular director Agathian.
Currently Vijayalakshmi is pairing with Jai in the film Adhey Neram Adhey Idam. M Prabhu who was earlier an assistant to S J Suryah is directing this film. Vijayalakshmi has boldly acted in glamour role in this film. She was also bold enough to do a kissing scene.
Vijayalakshmi kissing Jai scene takes place in the song Vennilavu Jannalil. Censor Board seeing these bold scenes had awarded a U/A Certificate. Director Prabhu while speaking said,” For the first time Vijayalakshmi has acted in a glamour role. She has also acted in a kissing scene.
Vijayalakshmi and Jai had taken four takes to do this scene. Romance blossoms between Jai who is in search of a job and Vijayalakshmi who is a college student. But their love is aborted and Jai becomes frustrated and depressed.
Venkat Prabhu has sung a song which was composed by Premji. Ramakrishnan is producing this film under the banner Lakshmi Pictures.”
