Malavika is ready

Malavika is finally ready to pack her bags back to tinsel town. The actress, who bid adieu to the profession after entering wedlock with Sumesh Menon, is keen to make a comeback.
“Marriage and pregnancy made me stay at home. I had also gained weight after giving birth to a baby boy. So I had not accepted any offers then. After rigorous workouts and diet, I am slim now. And I am open to acting,” she says.
Denying reports that she had made it clear to some filmmakers that she was in no mood to enter films again, Malavika says, “Some approached me to act in insignificant roles. I said no only to them.”
On her son, she says, ‘he was initially reluctant to leave me alone. He wanted to be with me 24x7. However, he is now having a whale of time with other relatives too. So I think there won’t be any problem if I concentrate on films.”
