Ramesh Overtakes Ram Gopal Varma

Very few filmmakers are strictly adhered to conceptualizations of making pragmatic flicks. Indeed, it’s an easy task to count them out within fraction of minutes. When it comes to South Indian film industry, few auteurs like A.M.R. Ramesh, Ram Gopal Varma and ‘Aran’ fame Major Ravi have been letting their experiments based on real life incidents.In the recent times, few things have been striking these filmmakers to get along with those motifs – namely – Forest Brigand Veerappan and LTTE Chief Prabhakaran.Earlier, Ram Gopal Varma had plans about making a film on Veerappan and even had met the late brigand’s wife Muthulakshmi. But later, the filmmaker turned his focus into other powerful entity of Parithala Ravi. Meanwhile, filmmaker A.M.R. Ramesh has started penning script for a film based on Veerappan and has been constantly getting in touch with Muthulakshmi, who has promised to furnish him with unknown facts about Veerappan.
