Director Sasi Kumar wasted no time in congratulating director Bala for winning the National Award for directing Naan Kadavul. He was accompanied by director Samuthrakani, producer Ashok, choreographer Dinesh, and cameraman Kathir. The team wished the director at his office.Bala stormed into the Tamil industry with Sethu in the year 1999 and went to direct critically acclaimed films like Nanda and Pithamagan.
