S A Chandrasekaran is producing a film titled Vezhuthu Kattu under the banner Star Makers. Senadhipathi Magan is directing this film.
Producer S A Chandrasekaran while speaking about this film said,” This film shows the other side of the village youths. This film speaks about the joy and reality of these people. New faces Kadhir and Arundhathi are doing the lead roles.
I have selected people from Madurai, Dindigul and Ambasamudaram areas to do the important roles in this film. I gave them training for one month and then I made them act. We had erected a 30 feet Ayyanar statue in Ayyapatty village in Dindigul area for shooting purposes.This statue plays an important role in this film. This statue was installed by strictly following Hindu traditions. After the shooting I have handed over the temple to the village people to worship. “
