Here’s one more film on the make that has no big star-casts. The complete team comprises of debutants and new faces for the film titled ‘Malabar Maapilai’. The film is directed by debutant Bijili while Chandran and Loganthan under the banner of Kuruvilla Movie House.
Debutants Shanavas, Sumanth, Ganesh are on the lead roles while Muthukalai, Mahir Khan, Devan are performing prominent roles. Chandrika, Seetha and Nalini, again the debutants are donning the female lead roles. The film is all about a NRI based youngster making his way to Chennai to marry his Uncle’s daughter. But, he’s quite shocked to witness the girl is already is in love with another guy, who happens to be her classmate in college. Director Bijili has said that it would be a triangular love story based on the comedy-entertainer.
Shooting for the film is close on the heels hitting floors in the mid of May across exotic locales of Chennai, Madurai and Aalapuzha… Ranjeesh will tuning in melodies and Raju will crank the camera…
