Reema's Dual Personality
Reema has done some rough and tough scenes in Ayirathil Oruvan and for that she had to get real down and dirty, rolling in the sands and running in the thick jungles for the film along with her co stars Andrea and Karthi. The film deals with an adventure of the threesome in tough conditions and took two years to complete under Selvaraghavan’s eagle eye for detail.Yet people have mostly noticed only Reema’s super glam look in the film with revealing outfits and figure hugging clothes along with a string of tattoos and raunchy dance numbers. But of course no one is complaining and Reema is sure the film will take her places for all her efforts.Looks like we are going to see two sides of Reema in the film after all!

Cold war between Lakshmi Rai and Padmapriya
It seems there is cold war between Lakshmi Rai and Padmapriya. Both of them had a clash in the sets of Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam with regard to who is talented.
Simbhu Devan who had earlier directed Imsai Arasan which had Vadivelu in the lead is directing this film. Lawrence is doing the lead role. This film is a cowboy story. All the actors and actresses are adorning cowboy costumes.
Padmapriya and Lakshmi Rai are also starring in this film. Both of them were constantly telling that they are the heroines of this film. This statement has led to difference of opinion between them. So, both of them had almost tortured the director by telling him that their role should have more significance.
The director was really in a tough position to compromise them. Padmapriya had remarked, “The whole country who have seen Mirugam, Thavamai Thavamirundhu and Pokkisham knows about my acting skill. Can she act like me?” This remark had reached the ears of Lakshmi Rai.
She got wild and quipped that she was more talented than Padmapriya. But somehow Simbhu Devan was able to keep the situation under control and has successfully completed the shooting. It is also important to note that Sandhya is also one of the heroines in this film. The cold war between the two was very much felt during the audio launch of this film. Lakshmi Rai use to come in glamorous dress for these kinds of functions. In order to contend with her Padmapriya for the first time came in glamorous attire.

Star's New Year Wishes
What do the stars wish in the new year? Looks like its not asking for the moon and the stars but just simple goals for themselves and others. While Namitha wants to go vegetarian and lose some weight, she also wants to spend time with her family and less at shopping. Laxmi Rai too wants to lose weight in the coming year while Srikanth hopes that more films will release for him next year. The party boy wants to reduce partying at last and focus more on work. For Arya it’s a wish for his production house to make many films and good ones at that while Karthi hopes that Chennaiites would inculcate a greater civic sense and keep the city clean. Now that’s a huge wish list indeed!
Jawahar tells that why he is directing remake films
Kutty is a film produced by Gemini Film Circuit. This film is a remake of the Telugu hit film Arya. Mithran R Jawahar is directing this film.
While speaking to the media, he said,” It will be a new experience for the audience who watch the film Kutty. It is a tailor made role for Dhanush. The songs composed by Devi Sriprasad have come out well. Director Selvaraghavan has penned one song.
The film is to be released on Pongal day. People are asking whether this film is about a triangular love. This is a romantic film. But it will be a different kind of love story. I have made some changes to suit the Tamil audience. This is my second film with Dhanush after Yaaradi Nee Mohini. I will also be directing Dhanush in my next film. Many are asking me that why I am directing remake films. I am getting such opportunities. It is not a easy matter to direct remake films. It is a tough job.”
