Kollywood Against Female Infanticide and Foeticide

The entire road across Marina Beach was spangled with 1000 youngsters and Kollywood icons, who took a rally of 2.5Kms for the cause against female infanticide and foeticide. South Indian Artists Association President Sarath Kumar addressing the thronged crowd said that the pre-natal tests should be completely eradicated.

The event was labeled as ‘Global Walk for India’s Missing Girls’ that was about addressing the world, the fact that 2.5million girl children are aborted every year in India.

It is worth mentioning that the South Indian Actors Association has taken extensive efforts into several issues for a good cause.
