SURIYA & KARTHI GEAR UP TO CAST THEIR VOTES

Actors Suriya and Karthi was spotted today at the line of a polling station in Chennai, waiting to cast their votes for the upcoming 2019 General elections. The actor-sibling duo have taken a break from their busy schedule to exercise their democratic rights.

The actors were seen accompanying their spouses to the polling booth. Actress Jyothika tagged along with actor Suriya to cast her vote.

On the work front, Suriya will be seen in the upcoming film NGK, which is gearing up for a May release and will also be playing the lead in the K.V Anand-directed Kaappaan. Actor Karthi has commited to a slew of projects which includes the Lokesh Kanagaraj-directorial 'Kaidhi' and an untitled project co-starring Jyothika and directed by Jeethu Joseph 

VIJAY SETHUPATHI'S FILM AND TWO OTHER, GETS AN INTERNATIONAL HONOUR!

Three Tamil films have been selected for the New York Indian Film Festival 2017 and here are the details about those films.

First is, Oru Kidayin Karunai Manu, directed by Kaakka Muttai fame Manikandan’s protege, Suresh Sangaiah. The film, starring Vidharth and Raveena Ravi, will be screened as, “One Goat’s Mercy Petition.”

Vijay Sethupathi’s production venture Merku Thodarchi Malai has also been selected for the screening. The film, directed by Lenin Bharathi, has music by Ilaiyaraaja. This film will be screened as “Western Ghats.”

Sigai, directed by Jagadeesan Subu, has Kathir portraying a role of a lady and there is a curiosity behind the characterisation of the actor. Sigai will be screened as “Blossom.”
