Kuselan


Kuselan is rumoured to be a release in the last week of July with the audio of the movie releasing on July 1st. Kuselan produced by Kavithalaya is directed by P Vasu features Superstar Rajinikanth, Nayantara, Pasupathy and Meena in lead roles.

Jayamkondan



Jeyam Kondaan slated to be July release has actors Vinay, Bhavna and Lekha Washington in the lead roles, and is being directed by first-timer R. Kannan, who was earlier assisting Mr. Mani Ratnam. The film has music by Vidyasagar and lyrics by Vaali. The camera is being handled by cameraman Balasubramaniam of ‘Pithamagan’ fame.

Uliyin Osai



Uliyin Osai (Sounds of a Chisel), is a movie based on Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi short story written decades ago. Uliyin Osai features actors Vineet as the sculptor and Sarath Babu as the famous Chola king Rajarajan. Keerthi Chawla and Aakshaya play their love intrest. Poet Ilavenil will write the screenplay and dialogues. Maestro Ilyaraja will compose the music for the film produced by SP Murugesan under the banner of J. Nandini Arts.

Ayya Vazhi



Ayya Vazhi will release on June 27th and is the story of a man, Vaikunda Sami, a spiritualist who devoted his life to bring about social change. A debutante actor, Raja, will play the role of Vaigundaswamy aka Vaigundar. Sujibala is playing the female lead role. Manivannan, Sanjay, Senthil, Madanbob, Charlie, Balasingh, Chandrasekhar, Thyagu, ‘Vennira Adai’ Nirmala and others co-star in the film. Anbazhagan, who directed Murali-Laila in ‘Kamarasu,’ produces the film as well as writes the screenplay and dialogues and directs it.

Vallamai Tharayo


Vallamai Tharayo will be a June 28th release and has Parthiban and Chaya Singh in the lead roles. Produced by Giriguja Films International, story, screenplay, dialogues and direction for the film are by Madhumita. Music is by Bharadwaj and cinematography is by Rajarajan.


The next few days will see a rainbow of releases with Ayutham Seivom , Vallamai Tharayo, Ayya Valzhi among the popular releases. Post this weekend and into the next month, will be Uliyin Oosai, Jayamkondan and the biggie which everyone will be looking forward to - Kuselan.
Aayudham Seivom which is slated for release on June 27th has actor-turned director Sundar C. in the lead role. He is paired with Anjali of Katradhu Thamizh fame. The movie is directed by debutant Udhayan and produced by Pyramid Saimira Productions. Others in the star cast include Vivek, Napoleon, Nazer, Vijayakumar, Suganya, Manivannan, G.M. Kumar and Ponnambalam.
