Madhumitha was betrothed to Tollywood’s actor Shiva Balaji on August 21st in a grand function at Golconda Hotel, Hyderabad. The romance between Siva Balaji and Swapna Madhuri has been continuing since a couple of years finally reached the climax stage. Shiva Balaji is Madhumitha’s long-time friend. Madhumitha is also known as Swapna Madhuri. The parents of both the sides have accepted Madhumitha and Shiva Balaji relationship and arranged for the betrothal in Hyderabad. Both fell in love during the shooting of a Tamil project called ‘Englishkaran’. Swapna Madhuri (Madhumita in Tamil) who is also an actress is a busy heroine in Tamil. Madhumitha, who acted in Parthiban’s Kudaikkul Mazhai went on to act in a string of films including Englishkaran, Arai En 305-il Kadavul, Amudhe, Naalai, and is one of the successful actresses of Kollywood. Swapna Madhuri (Madhumita in Tamil) is currently working in Yogi, Solla Solla Inikkum, Nalvaravu and Kadhal Meipada. The couple would tie the knot after completing the current schedules of their respective films.
