Selvaraghavan locks horns with his producer

Aayirathil Oruvan, in which Karthi, Reema Sen and Andrea play the lead role, has been in the making for a long while. The film is directed by Selvaraghavan and produced by Ravindran. Earlier, the budget issues that cropped up between the director and producer saw to it that the film’s shooting was stalled. This was, however, sorted out with the
intervention of the Producers’ Council and Selvaraghavan resumed the shooting.
The latest buzz in the industry is that Selvaraghavan has now exceeded the agreed budget and is now demanding another Rs. 3 crores to complete the film. With this issue rearing its ugly head once again, Ravindran had decided to seek the help of the Producers’ Council yet again.
