Dhanush is having quite a few projects on the anvil post Padikathavan. While he is set to join brother Selvaraghavan for Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam, there is also the remake of the Telugu superhit Arya. The one that seems like taking off first is Polladhavan director Vetrimaaran’s untitled project. According to reports, the story this time will be set in
Madurai and it will involve Anglo Indian characters. Trisha was the first choice for playing the female lead. However the lady has put the offer on hold due to her other commitments. She too is fully loaded with work being part of a Telugu mega project, followed by a bit of work for the Telugu remake of Abhiyum Naanum. The Dhanush-Vetrimaaran project now has to scout for other alternatives or wait to see whether any adjustment with Trisha’s dates is possible. The project should go on floors soon.
