Kajal Aggarwal plays LR Easwari

Looks like Saran has found his way to honour the yesteryear versatile singer who was known to sing offbeat tracks. Kajal Aggarwal, the lanky lass who played journalist in Bommalaatam, apart from doing a cameo in Saroja, returns playing a singer in Saran’s Modhi Vilayaadu. I am a college goer in the film apart from having a rock band in it. I play a singer in it, and am called LR Easwai, says the actress, who likens her role to that of the loquacious Genelia in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. The film, an action flick, is said to have a lot of comedy in the scenes involving her and Vinay. In fact, the actress is said to have caused his car a damage due to which she even ends up playing his servant. The film is slated for a mid-June release.
