Oscar Nayagan AR Rahman, actor Tabu and Kanimozhi MP will inaugurate the Ability Fest 2009 –India International Disability Film Festival in the presence of Andrew Simkin US consul general in Chennai.The grand event will be held at Sathyam Cinemas on Monday 12th Oct at 7 pm. For the closing ceremony on 15th October, Oscar winner Resul Pookutty, Shobana, Sai Paranjpe and Balu Mahendra are slated to attend. Revathi is the Festival Vice President while Jayashee Ravindran is the festival chairperson. The festival will be consist of a series of short films relating to disability.
