Southscope Style awards given away!

The first style awards of south, hosted by Southscope the first English south Indian film magazine turned out to be a star studded event with the crème-de-la-crème of cinema attending it on Sunday (Oct 25) at HICC, Hotel Novotel, Hyderabad.
The Southscope Style awards are being established to celebrate the sartorial splendour of South India cinema. The nominations were for the most stylish film, Stylish actor, Stylish actress, Stylish stunt choreographer, Stylish album, and stylish dance choreographer in all the four south Indian languages. Asmita Marwa, Wendell Rodricks, Prasad Bidapa judged the nominees according to given parameters. Apart from these awards, Suriya was adjudged as the Southscope Youth Style Icon (Male) and Nayanthara was the Southscope Youth Style Icon (Female).
The winners were Dhanush(Pollathavan),Shriya Saran (Shivaji), Vishnuvardhan (Billa), Prabhudeva(Sivaji), Rajashekar (Subramanyapuram), Harris Jayaraj (Dhaam Dhoom). Among the top celebs from Tollywood and Kollywood wereMega star Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Ileana, Zeenat Aman, cricketer Azharuddin, NTR, Ram Charan Teja, Sruthi Haasan, Allu Arjun, Tarun, Prabhu Deva, Nayanthara, Reema Sen, Vishnuvardhan, Bharath, Madhavan, Vivek, Bharath, Arya, Lakshmi Rai, Shaam, Abbas, and Narain. There were performances by Allu Arjun, Nikhita, Jennifer Kotwal, Mumaith Khan, Devi Sri Prasad and Priyamani.
