Cricket player becomes hero

Cricket player Sadagoppan Ramesh debuts as a hero in the film titled Patta Patti. Yuvaraj is directing this film. Yuvaraj while speaking to the media said,” In order to say this film is a village based story, I have titled this film as Patta Patti.

Cricket player Ramesh is donning the role of a cricketer. Normally if you say a film has a back drop of Madurai, only sickles will come to one’s mind. But this story is just opposite. The story has been told in a comical way. Cricket will be one of the factors in this film.

The shooting of this film was held for 30 days in Upparpatti village near Theni. The second schedule of shooting will take place in the same village. A new face Harini from Kerala is the heroine of this film.
Arul Dev has composed the music while new comer Gopinath handles the camera. This film is produced by Sanraa Media in association Flicker Studios.”
