Consecutive Hollywood Remakes In B-Town

It’s high time for Bollywood. With an abundant goldrush passing through every producer’s veins, they’re ready to pay-n-buy the remake rights directly from Hollywood. Gone are those days, where those autuers had to keep themselves working ardently on polished desi version.

Here’s an exclusive report from the town of Bollywood about three consecutive remakes that producers have planned for.
Hangover: Set against the backdrops of Las Vegas, it’s a comedy drama revolving around pals of about-to-wed groom. As they get fuddled crossing extremum, they are pitted into unavoidable misfortune as the groom goes missing. Now, they’ll have to get back along the way tracing him to avoid complications.
Bride Wars: Everything seems to be about wed-n-dash with the remakes. When it was all about the pitiable misadventures of groomsmen, this takes us into a direct combat between brides, who were close friends until their wedding was fixed on the same date and venue. The story is set in Manhattan and centres on two best friends Liv (Kate Hudson) and School Teacher Emma (Annie Hathaway). After they propose their boy friends and plan to get married at the same venue, things takes a different turn. Mistakably, the wedding planners of Marion St. Claire schedule their wedding on the same day and time; things break loose out of hell as the best friends turn rivals planning to disrupt each other’s wedding party.
Departed: When our Indian filmmakers are well-known for projecting undercover cops into the group of baddies, Martin Scorsese stepped ahead by casting two agents into mafia and police groups… With the biggest star-casts – Martin Scorsese, Matt Damon and Leonardo Di Caprio, the film picked numerous awards. The latest we hear is that Vishal Bharadwaj is acquiring remake rights of this film with Hrithik Roshan in one of the characters while he’s still looking out for the other actor. Recently, there were buzzes that Tamil actor Vikram has been his other choice as he was enthralled watching his performance on the sets of ‘Raavana’
