Vijay's Kaavalan and Danush's Aaduikalam are in close race among Pongal release movies. Both are competing for taking the first place. At the same time, the market was divided because no theatre could gauge which film was the winner. At the end of first week, Aadukalam is leading in the race thanks to its good word-of-mouth, strong multiplex preference and giant publicity on the Sun Network.
