The story of Narain and Prabhu starrer Thambikkottai is touted to be real life incidents in and around the town Thambikkottai. The story is about the happenings around an old bridge at Thambikkotai.
Director Ammu Ramesh says, "We did not plan to take the real life incidents when we choose Thambikkotai locations for our shooting. We were surprised to hear about the bridge and situations that coincided with our story"
Major portions of film was canned at the Old bridge. Thambikkottai other cast includes Poonam Bajwa, Meena, Sangeetha, Santhanam, MS Bhaskar, Kanja Karuppu and the music is scored by D Imman.
The film is expected to hit silver screen on Feb 10.
