The Tamil Nadu Assembly elections are attracting more and more stars each passing day. After a long list of actors and actresses who are already in the campaign trail, it is now the turn of Tollywood megastar Chiranjeevi to meet the voters here.
The Praja Rajyam Party leader, who recently announced his decision to merge his party with the Congress, will campaign for the national party in Tamil Nadu on April 8 and 9.
If reports are to be believed, Chiranjeevi had a meeting with AICC president Sonia Gandhi a few days ago wherein she requested him to be a star campaigner for the Congress in the Tamil Nadu elections.
Also, AICC general secretary Ghulam Nabi Azad and Tamil Nadu Congress Committee president K V Thangkabalu spoke to Chiranjeevi separately over phone and requested him to campaign for the party. All these things have made the ‘Megastar’ to come to Tamil Nadu in support of the Congress.
