Superstar Rajinikanth is presently busy
shooting for director Shankar's magnum opus '2.0' whose final schedule
of shooting is currently taking place in Chennai. The makers have
announced that the film which is the sequel to the 2010 blockbuster
sci-fi entertainer 'Enthiran' will hit the screens as a Diwali 2017
treat. But it is still unclear when the shooting will be wrapped up.
Rajinikanth's next after '2.0' will be a
film directed by Pa.Ranjith with whom he delivered the blockbuster
'Kabali' last year. This film will be produced by the former's
son-in-law and actor Dhanush. The project was announced by the mid of
last year and it was expected that the film will go on floors after the
Evergreen Superstar is free from his commitments for '2.0'.
Now it is reliably learnt that the second
film from the Rajini-Ranjith combo will go on floors in the month of
May 2017. It is said that Ranjith who has been busy penning the script
for the film is expected lock the final script within a few weeks from
now. The 'Madras' director is also simultaneously scouting locations in
Chennai and Mumbai to shoot the film.
The team is yet to finalize the cast and
crew members including the heroine. We can expected official
announcements about this mega exciting project one by one in the coming
days.
